Day 1: Athens to Meteora
Start your journey early in the morning and drive to Meteora, a stunning rock formation in central Greece that is home to several monasteries perched on top of the cliffs. You can visit the monasteries, take a hike to explore the area, or simply admire the stunning views from various viewpoints. Spend the night in Kalambaka, the nearest town to Meteora.
Day 2: Metsovo
Drive to the picturesque mountain village of Metsovo, located in the Pindus mountain range. Explore the traditional architecture, the small shops selling handmade products, and the local museums that showcase the history and culture of the area. You can also visit the nearby Aoos Lake and hike in the surrounding mountains. Spend the night in Metsovo.

Explore the stone-built houses, the arched bridges, and the old churches that make up the unique architecture of the area. You can also hike in the Vikos Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world, or visit the nearby Monodendri village for stunning views of the area. Spend the night in one of the Zagorohoria villages.
Day 4: Ioannina
Drive to the city of Ioannina, the capital of the Ipeiros region. Visit the castle of Ioannina, which houses several museums and offers stunning views of the city and the lake. Explore the old town, which is full of traditional houses, narrow alleys, and Ottoman-era buildings. You can also visit the nearby Perama Cave or take a boat ride on Lake Pamvotis. Spend the night in Ioannina.
Day 5: Vikos Gorge
Drive to the Vikos Gorge, one of the most impressive natural wonders in Greece. Hike in the gorge, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and rivers. You can also visit the nearby villages of Aristi or Papigo for more traditional architecture and local cuisine. In the afternoon, drive back to Athens or continue your journey to other parts of Greece.
